The owners of this home in Laurel Springs desired a feeling of warmth and rustic coziness they had come to know while living in England. The white trim and mirror above the fireplace were removed and replaced with a beautiful stone fireplace. The color palette changed from builder beige with white trim, to warm golden brown tones. Shiny brass light fixtures were replaced with heavy iron chandeliers and sconces. Two story window treaments, new furniture and accessories brought the desired warmth and coziness. The kitchen received a makeover as well with updated appliances, a beautiful copper sink, and a new stone facade on the bar. Updated window treatments and new banquette seating, and a new family living space was created.
It was such a pleasure working on this project. The homeowners had a vision of how the room should look and working with them to reach that goal was very rewarding.
